New Belt

A few weeks ago, Kaden moved up Kung Fu classes. He is doing really well and it is amazing the progress he has made in a year. He has become so much more confident in his skills and to watch him test is incredible. It amazes me that he knows all his movements by heart. Yesterday evening he tested and he moved up in belts. He was so proud and could not wait to get home to tell Daddy all about it. He starts sparring next week. That should most definitely be an interesting class.

Saturday Night Camp Out

On Saturday night Ken pitched the tent in the backyard and he and the kids had a faux camp out. Ya know, camping with luxuries and convenience. I cracked up when I walked outside and I saw a power cord from the house to the tent. Ken powered up his laptop so the kids could watch cartoons. Now, that's what I call camping, lol. Even though it was faux camping, the kids had a blast and got their smore fix for the year. I even got in house smore delivery service. Kaden made sure that Mommy got her smore fix too. While the kids looked forward to sleeping in the tent all night, I looked forward to sleeping in a bit. However, that did not happen:-( Kohen decided that she was up for the day at 5 am!! So much for sleeping in!!

Can't wait

On Saturday I did a bridal shoot and I am so excited with the images. The outdoor lighting was just perfect and I got some really beautiful shots. Of course, I would love to share, but I can't let the groom get a sneak peek of his beautiful bride to be in the wedding dress before the big day.

The Birthday Girl

My cousin Ashley just turned 17 and I promised that I would do a birthday shoot for her. Look at her, isn't she is the perfect model? I had so much fun photographing her this past weekend. I even got Judy to pose with her on a few. We got some great shots and here are a few.

Halloween

We spent Halloween with my Aunt Judy, Uncle Ralph, Ashley, and Emily and boy did we have a blast!! We started off at a festival on the square. It was only 4pm and we could have totally called it quits with the amount of candy they received from the local businesses on the square. However, there was no stopping the kids!! They were on a mission, a CANDY mission. You know, the kind where you are guaranteed a trip to the dentist. Throwing caution to the wind, we hit up several happening subdivisions and let me tell you, the kids RACKED up!! Of course, now that Halloween is over and the candy has been confiscated, guess who is eating it all? MOMMY!!! I need to trash the candy, send it to Ken's work, or hide it from myself.

Nolan and Leslie

While I was visiting Diana and her family this weekend, we had time to squeeze in a mini photo opt for the kiddos. It was fun getting to photograph the kids in the town that I was born in. Here are a few of my favs.
